Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is Mexican-born musician born into a family of musicians. The music she grew up with was classic and old boleros, along with the traditional songs of romantics and ranchero. Ana loves Tangos, opera, and any form of dramatic performance. She started singing and studying songs with her mother she began her more intensive singing training at the age of 16 working with the famous Mexican tenor Flavio Becerra. In Guadalajara she studied at the School of Music of University of Guadalajara as well as in Toluca at The School of Sacred Music. While a student, and as a young professional within Mexico City and Guadalajara she was a member of several chamber ensembles as well as choruses. When she moved in America, United States, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Then in 2002 she moved to Southern California. She has performed solo Latin American music for private occasions and is a part of Ensemble XXI in Redlands. As a musician and teacher, she is committed to numerous community projects because of her love and love for music. Ana is also a previous member of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana loves to sing classic Latin American songs and hopes that she can inspire others to do the same.
