Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson was born in Paris France to British parents Jacqueline Luesby and Chris Watson who were both lawyers. They was moved to Oxfordshire when she was five years old and attended at the Dragon School. Emma had a dream to be a professional actress from the age of at the age of six. She attended Stagecoach Theatre Arts in Oxford which is an acting academy with part-time courses. As part of a school production and a Stagecoach show, she took her role as lead actress at 10, and acted. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000) the 2001 adaptation of J.K. Rowling's bestselling British novel was published in 1999. Emma was found by agents through her Oxford teacher. David Heyman informed Emma, Daniel Radcliffe, and Rupert Grint following auditions for 8 times. They were chosen to play the 3 leads Hermione Gringer Harry Potter Ron Weasley. The film's release Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001) was Emma's debut on the screen in cinema. The highest-grossing movie of 2001 it set new records for its opening day opening and the opening weekend's earnings. Critics gave high praise to the film and particularly the young performers. The Daily Telegraph, an important British publication, described Emma's performance "amazing". Emma won the Young Artist Award as the most outstanding young actor in a Feature Film. Emma was nominated five times for her role in the movie.
